What do I mean by that?
Take the time, each week to create and share one blog post/video/content piece that positions you as THE LOCAL EXPERT on all things.
One good (doesn’t even need to be great!) content piece each week.
Talk about things like:
- featured neighborhoods in your market
- schools in your market
- upcoming events in your market
- great new local businesses
- cool day trips from your town
- best breakfast/lunch/dinner spots in town
You get the idea. Show yourself as a local expert.
And along the way, position yourself as the go-to real estate expert in your market.
Of course, you still need to create content around your featured listings and specific real estate related content.
But, with your website and your social media accounts, you have everything you need to build a huge, local media empire.
What do you do with that content you create each week?
First, put it on your website.
Then, share it to your Facebook and LinkedIn and other social media accounts.
Maybe even spend $30 per week on Facebook ads locally to expand the reach of that content.
Send it out to your email list.
You do have an email list, right? If not, that’s a whole different story.
Why do this?
Because it works to attract new people into your world, increasing awareness of you and your brand and, along the way, the likelihood someone will think of you when they have local real estate questions.
The secret sauce?
Do this every week for 6 months – just to see what happens.
At the end of that 6 months you will have 24 pieces of content out there working non-stop to attract people into your world.
How many pieces of content do you have out there right now?

It’s easy, but you still need to show up. Just not every day.
